RTE international is delighted to announce its membership of the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s leading initiative dedicated to sustainable business development. This decision represents a significant step forward in our commitment to social and environmental responsibility, reinforcing our determination to integrate sustainable and ethical practices at the heart of our operations.

By joining this benchmark initiative, RTE international is committed to actively promoting responsible and transparent business practices, contributing to balanced development that respects social, environmental and economic issues.

With this announcement, RTE international is proud to join thousands of companies around the world, all united in their commitment to adopt responsible practices and actively contribute to building a common, sustainable and equitable future.

Launched in 2000, the United Nations Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. It counts over 20,000 companies and 3,000 non-commercial signatories in more than 160 countries, and is supported by a network of over 62 local organizations.

The United Nations Global Compact is a call to companies worldwide to align their operations and strategies with the Ten Universally Accepted Principles in the areas of human rights, international labor standards, the environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of the United Nations goals and challenges embodied in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

As part of its commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices, RTE international has integrated the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact into its strategies and operations, and is committed to respecting human rights and international labor standards, protecting the environment and fighting corruption in all its forms.

In concrete terms, this membership commits RTE international to publishing an annual Communication on Progress (CoP) detailing its progress in implementing the ten principles, to integrating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into its corporate strategy, and to actively participating in the initiatives and events of the local Global Compact network. These commitments reflect a determination to anchor the principles of sustainability and social responsibility at the heart of our operations and corporate culture.
