From 23 to 28 August 2026, RTE international will be taking part in the CIGRE 2026 Session, held at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. A key gathering for power systems professionals, the event brings together around 9,000 participants from more than 100 countries, along with over 300 exhibitors, to explore the sector’s latest technical and technological developments.

- Semi-automatic verification of grid code requirements, Monday 24/08 at 11:00 — Robin Lemaire, Power System Engineer, will present RTE international’s work on automating compliance testing for equipment connected to the grid. The approach aims to make verification campaigns faster, more reliable and more transparent, with a particular focus on grid-forming technologies.
- From pilots to large-scale systems: RTE International’s BESS activities, Thursday 27/08 at 11:00 — Phuong Nguyen, BESS Expertise Business Manager, PhD, will discuss RTE International’s activities in the field of BESS, battery energy storage systems that are playing an increasingly important role in electricity networks. These systems help integrate renewable energy more effectively, provide greater flexibility, and contribute to system stability.
