The purpose of the technical assistance agreement initiated in 2007, and renewed in 2011, is to allow CIE to have access to the expertise and experience gained by RTE.

Services delivered

  • Assistance with workstations (equipment search, technology watch, maintenance policy, and advice on equipment)
  • Assistance on command controls (procedure and operating mode, maintenance policy, and equipment search)
  • Assistance on links (underground cable layout, request for characteristics for overhead link components, technology watch, definition of standard budgets for the teams in charge of Live Working, preparation of operating mode)
  • Assistance on operation and safety (incident analysis, information on the application of the NF C18510 standard at RTE, HV line live working and work on conventional lines)
