Grid Code for Congo

RTE international has drawn up all the network codes in which the conditions and criteria for generation, transmission, distribution of regional and cross-border interconnections, and marketing of electrical energy are defined.

Services delivered

• Connection Code (sets out the technical requirements for connecting the various energy sources and consumption and distribution facilities to the transmission networks),
• Market Code (defines the mechanisms that govern the long-term operation of the national electricity market, such as the adjustment of the supply-demand balance),
• Operating Code (establishes the standards for safe, coordinated, and efficient operation of the national electricity system with the regional one).
