RTE international publishes its 2024 Environmental Report: transparency, commitment and continuous improvement
A committed player in the energy transition, RTE international has supported system operators and institutions worldwide for over 20 years in building electricity systems that are safer, more sustainable and more resilient. We are dedicated to advancing the global energy transition by enabling the integration of renewable energies and reducing the environmental footprint of power systems.
This mission requires a deep understanding of environmental challenges and exemplary conduct in the way we manage and deliver our activities.
It is in this spirit that we are publishing our first environmental report. Although RTE international is not subject to the regulatory requirements set out in France’s Pacte Law, we have chosen to follow a voluntary, structured and transparent approach.
This initiative reflects our core belief that measuring, understanding and reporting our environmental impacts to all stakeholders is essential to making progress and strengthening our contribution to the ecological and energy transition.
This report sets out:
- Our environmental strategy
- The quantification of our greenhouse gas emissions
- The improvement pathways identified for the coming years
