RTE international is pleased to announce that its Serbian subsidiary, RTEi South-East Europe (RTEi SEE), has been awarded ISO 27001 certification, the leading international standard for information security. A gateway to the Balkans, the subsidiary carries out software development, grid and market studies, training and consulting activities. It is the first RTE Group subsidiary to obtain this certification.<\/span><\/strong><\/p><h2 dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #65afff;\"><strong>Security as a process of continuous improvement<\/strong><\/span><\/h2><p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">The ISO 27001 certification, granted following an audit carried out by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intercert-france.fr\/en\/home\/\">Intercert<\/a> at RTEi SEE in September 2026, complements RTE international&#8217;s existing ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certifications. <strong>It forms part of the company&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rte-international.com\/en\/about-us\/our-commitments\/\">broader commitment<\/a> to quality and safety.<\/strong> Although the Serbian subsidiary has only recently broadened the scope of its activities, its long-established digital foundations made it the ideal candidate for embarking on a continuous improvement approach to information security.<\/span><\/p><h2 dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #65afff;\"><strong>ISO 27001: the culmination of a project spanning more than eighteen months<\/strong><\/span><\/h2><p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">The certification recognises the maturity of RTEi SEE&#8217;s security approach and confirms that <strong>an information security management system (ISMS) compliant with the standard has been put in place.<\/strong> It marks the culmination of more than eighteen months&#8217; work by the French and Serbian teams. Together, they designed and rolled out every component of the ISMS, and demonstrated in practical terms that they have information security risks firmly under control. Neither the preliminary internal audit nor the certification audit identified any non-conformities.<\/span><\/p><h2 dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #65afff;\"><strong>Safeguarding the data of critical infrastructure<\/strong><\/span><\/h2><h2 dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #65afff;\"><strong><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-6702 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rte-international.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/iso-27001-rte-international-238x300.png\" alt=\"certification iso 27001 par l'organisme intercert\" width=\"208\" height=\"262\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rte-international.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/iso-27001-rte-international-238x300.png 238w, https:\/\/www.rte-international.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/iso-27001-rte-international.png 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 208px) 100vw, 208px\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/h2><p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Working under the ISO 27001 banner meets the expectations of RTEi SEE&#8217;s clients, in particular transmission system operators, who entrust the subsidiary with sensitive information. <strong>Th<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong>e certification provides an additional guarantee of rigour at a time when cybersecurity requirements for suppliers and partners are tightening<\/strong>, notably with the European NIS2 (Network and Information Security 2) Directive.<\/span><\/p><blockquote><p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">&#8220;<em>The sensitivity of the data our clients entrust to us, in a sector that touches on critical infrastructure, demands constant rigour on our part.
